Bio
WELCOME TO MARTIN CITY MIDDLE SCHOOL
HI, my name is Gina Stringfield and I am your student's Resource Reading, Writing, and/or Math teacher. I also Co-Teach in grades 6-8 in the areas of Reading and Math. This is my 19th year of teaching. Sixteen of those years have been in the Grandview C4 School District. I am also a graduate from Grandview High School and I love giving back to the community that help raised me. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master's degree in Education-Learning Disability both from the University of Central Missouri.
I have been married for 14 years and I have two boys, Jackson and Chase. Jackson is 13 years old and he is currently going into 8th grade. He plays on a competitive baseball team, so I spend a lot of time on the ball park cheering on my favorite player. My youngest, Chase, is going into 4th grade and he enjoys playing soccer and the guitar. He is definitely my rock star!
In my spare time I enjoy reading and watching the Royals. My dream is to travel with my husband to other stadiums and watch the Royals play. We have been to Wrigley Stadium in Chicago so I can cross that one off my list.
My objective is to make a positive difference with students with special needs to improve their academic growth, personal development and success in life.
I am looking forward to a having an excellent and fun year.
