School Leadership
Principal: Dr. Justin Larmie
Dr. Larmie’s educational journey began at Martin City K8 when he student-taught and later returned to teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts. He became an instructional coach and served in two elementary schools in the district, Butcher-Greene, and Belvidere. Three years ago, he returned to Martin City K8 to serve as an assistant principal.
Dr. Larmie is committed to learning and maintaining personal growth. He completed his undergraduate and graduate work at UMKC, finishing his doctoral journey and earning a Doctorate in PreK-12 Educational Administration. He continues to put into practice the theories of education he has learned and continues to grow professionally as he supports teachers, students, and families.
