MCE Musician's Corner

Welcome back to another year in the Martin City K-5 Music Room. My name is Elizabeth Reicher and I am beginning my 15th year at Martin City. I believe every child is a musician. My class is designed to allow each learner to discover their musical talent.

 

We have an instrument laboratory including over 20 different types of instruments. We use music centers to give the students small group and independent practice opportunities, and of course we sing and play games! 

 

Throughout the year each grade level will present a performance for family and friends. This is a special opportunity for each learner to share what they have been learning. The performance dates are located on the Performance page tab on the right. All performances are a part of your child's grade. If a student is absent for any reason they will have an alternate assignment which needs to be completed within one week of the performance to receive credit on their progress report. More performance information will be posted here closer to each performance.

 

I have also included a page tab for our Music Maker Club and for the link to my classroom Weebly website, The MCE Music Room. Both of these links will be updated soon with information for the 2018/2019 school year.
