Bio
Hi! My name is Mrs. Cindy Long, and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers at Martin City K-8.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education as well as my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Avila University. I've been teaching for over 25 years (18 at Martin City), and I am excited to teach Kindergarten. I started my career in Kindergarten and I love working with students on the foundational skills they will need to succeed!
My husband, Tim, is a Grandview graduate. We have 4 children who all attended Martin City K-8. Hannah works in forestry in Colorado, Jesse is a mechanic right here in Martin City, John is a sheriff's deputy, Emily works in optometry and Hank is in 4th grade. In the summer, I enjoy traveling with my family.
I am dedicated to ensuring that each of my students build the same strong foundation and love of learning my children received at Martin City.
