Meet Mrs. Baca




1995-Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University

2001-Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Kansas



1995-I began my career as a special education paraprofessional in the Blue Valley School District.

1996-I was hired as a sixth grade middle school science teacher in the Kansas City Public Schools District.

1998-I struck gold when I was hired to teach in a 6th grade elementary classroom at Butcher-Greene Elementary School.

2000- I was assigned to Martin City School as a middle school 6th grade science teacher.  I have also taught middle school special education and specialized reading in grades K-5 as a School Improvement Specialist.  This is my 7th year as Martin City School's Special Education Process Coordinator.  In 2002 I served in a one year interim position, in the STARR Teacher Program, for the state of Missouri at the Kansas City Regional Professional Development Center.  



I have been married to my wonderful husband since 2003 and we have two elementary school age children.
