About Me
Ethan Cartee began teaching in the Grandview C4 School District in the 2019-2020 school year. Before this, Mr. Cartee spent two years teaching music and band at St. James Catholic School. He received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of Missouri and his Master of Music Education degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance.
Mr. Cartee is Director of Bands at Martin City K-8, Assistant Director of Bands at Grandview High School, Director of the GHS Jazz Ensemble II, Director of the GHS Bulldog Pep Band, and Associate Director for the Blue and Gold Brigade Marching Band. In addition, he serves as the 6-12 Instrumental Music Department Chair.
In his free time, Mr. Cartee enjoys video games, gardening, cooking, and of course spending time with his wife, Amanda, and his dog, Rosie.
