Bio

Hello, my name is Stephanie Griggs, the students call me Miss G, and I have the privilege of teaching 2nd grade at Martin City K-8.  The 2018-2019 school year will be my 23rd year of teaching in Grandview.  I have taught at Martin City 19 years and 16 of those years  have been in 2nd grade.   One of my greatest passions is teaching.  I enjoy designing lessons in which students  learn how to use skills and are engaged.  My favorite part of teaching is interacting with my students through lessons and going to their extra curricular activities. Now that I am a seasoned teacher, it has been rewarding to see what my kids (some people call them former students) are pursuing in life.  I look forward to seeing where life takes your child.  Thank you for allowing me to be included in their journey.
